Seven Pools Bay (150x100CM)
Seven Pools Bay by Tania Chanter
The canvas transforms into an aerial vista of mesmerising beauty, where earth and water converge in a harmonious dance of colour and texture. From a bird's-eye view, the landscape unfolds in vivid hues and intricate patterns, inviting the viewer on a journey through a tapestry of natural wonders.
Stretching horizontally across the canvas, a winding river meanders its way through the earthy terrain, its serpentine path a testament to the enduring power of nature. Bold strokes of grey, sienna, ochre, and burnt umber depict the rugged landscape through which the river flows, each brushstroke imbued with a sense of movement and vitality.
As the river reaches its destination, it widens into a vivid blue bay.
Layers of texture add depth and dimension to the painting, inviting the viewer to explore its intricacies with both sight and touch. Rough patches of impasto mingle with delicate washes of colour, creating a sense of tactile realism that brings the landscape to life.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Tania is an Australian contemporary artist who has the desire to express emotion she feels from nature. Her feelings flow directly onto the canvas in an uninterrupted, intuitive flow; layers, textures and colours blend and evolve until some secret inner part feels satisfied. The depth and richness of the colours, the complexity of the sky – the romantic feeling of stormy clouds, the churning foam of the ocean on those days and the sunlight playing through tall grasses as they bend and wave. From the sweep of the vast landscape down to the bee among flowers, natures inspiration is endless.
Tania's work is represented in private and corporate collections throughout Australia and overseas.
