Little Salmon Bay is an original abstract impressionist landscape inspired by Little Salmon Bay, Rottnest Island, Western Australia. Tania has always had a love of the ocean; the depth and richness of the colours, the complexity of the sky, the churning foam of the ocean on stormy days and the sunlight playing through tall grasses as they bend and wave. This piece captures the ever changing hues found along the Australian coast. Tania's work draws from the power of storms, sunlight and the ocean. Layered acrylics and ink on a texture base, with gold leaf highlights. This painting is triple glazed and is finished with blackened edges and is ready to hang.
