A Simpler Life is an impressionist abstract floral still life. With the warm glow of Autumn, flowers come to life, gathered like a colourful choir singing to Autumn's splendour. My hope is that this painting brings a sense of calm to the room where it lives, and that it makes the people who enter the room feel as though a part of nature is right there with them. Layered acrylics and inks on a texture base on stretched cotton canvas. This painting is double glazed and is finished with blackened edges and is ready to hang.
