Artwork Description

A Road Less Travelled is an original abstract inspired by the Australian landscape. Ablaze with rich earthy tones of paprika, mustard and teal. Driving through the vast Australian landscape there are countless roads that seem to drift off into the horizon. Some end in bush, some end in cliffs, others at the ocean. Where this one ends, is up to the viewer.
I love the rich colours and countryside of the Australian Outback that is constantly changing; rivers, deserts, sand dunes and red dust are some of the things you'll see. Sometimes all within the space of a days drive. Even if I can capture just a small part of its beauty through my paintings, I'm happy.
This painting, like all of my pieces is double glazed, and arrives stretched, ready to hang, with blackened edges (Diptych: each painting is 76cm wide - total width 153cm x 77cm deep). I package my art securely with inserted protective layering, and of course the painting is wrapped in bubble wrap.
